Should I even bother starting this post with some glib comment about how fast this month has gone? No, but I will. Because seriously, where the hell did July go? The months seem to be getting busier the nearer we get to our wedding date. There's still so much to sort; but it's all starting to come together now. Here's a little look at what I've been up to in July!
I always feel like I've been really busy all month, until I sit down to write these posts. Then I can't remember a single thing I've done!
Doing...so much wedding prep! Over the last few weeks we've; had the bridesmaid's dress fittings, booked the suit fittings, ordered our wedding cake and sent out the wedding invitations. There's still loads to do, though!
Buying...the most amazing diary (below) ever from Home Bargains. And it only cost me £2! If you hadn't already guessed, I am obsessed with all things unicorn!
Reading...I'm still reading so much! I read eight, or nine, books in July. The best one, by far, was Honeymoon by Tina Seksis. Such a gripping, thrilling read. And that ending?! I can't wait to review this one.
Watching...8 Simple Rules. Comedy Central have been showing the series I grew up watching every weekday at 3pm. Highlight of my day, usually!
Eating...birthday cake! It was my Maid of Honour's son's second birthday a week or so ago. My fiancé and I went along to his birthday party to celebrate, and enjoyed a nice slice of cake!
Spending...lots of time with family and friends. From shopping for the flower girl's dresses with my bridesmaid; to taking my mum out for a birthday lunch; and, of course, a visit from my grandparents. It's been a great month for socialising!
And that was July, in a nutshell! August is shaping up to be a really busy month; what with meeting with our wedding photographer, meeting with our florist, my hen do, Chris' stag do, an office move...I could go on!
