For the last few years, I've been setting myself a word for the year ahead. Why? Because keeping just one word in my mind and trying to live by that throughout the year is just a really good idea, in my opinion. Last year's word was...BETTER. And I think I did do better last year. I worked on my mental health with therapy. I improved my relationship, I worked harder on my blog, and did well in my day job (even getting a pay rise!) So, yes. I think I did do better last year. And now it's time to set myself a new word for 2019. And that word is...
Joy
Such a simple word, but a powerful one. I want to make 2019 the year I truly live life joyfully. Yes, I'm going to be dieting, exercising, quitting bad habits and curbing my spending (see my other resolutions for 2019 here)! But that doesn't mean I can't find joy in everyday. And I intend to find that joy. Wish me luck!
Do you have a word for 2019?
I'm so proud of you for everything you did in 2018 - you really took some massive step forwards, especially in therapy! And I got to know you better too hehe
