1. Laundry on the line. Peak adulting here. But nothing makes me happier than laundry drying on the line. It dries quicker, it smells better, and it frees up so much space in my kitchen when the airers come down.
2. Lighter nights. I'm a big fan of cosy, but I'm getting a bit sick of having to close my curtains and switch on all the lights by 5pm. I can't wait for lighter nights, natural light, and not feeling like I'm ready for bed by 6pm.
3. Warmer weather. This is a tricky one for me. Because although I love the sunshine and the warmth, I don't love being sweaty and unbearably hot. So Summer is a bitch for me. But Spring is better. It's warm, but not too warm. Warm enough to wear a t-shirt, or a light cardigan. Warm enough for peep-toes. Warm enough for the thinner duvet.
4. Pretty flowers. The bare trees, the dead greenery, the piles of scattered, dead leaves make for a pretty miserable vista over the Autumn/Winter months. I'm looking forward to brighter views; with daffodils, snowdrops and bluebells making a comeback soon.
5. Fresh air. Although I try to open the windows in every room of the house fairly often throughout the Autumn/Winter months, to air the house out, they aren't usually open for long. It's just too cold! I love being able to throw the windows open in the morning on a Spring day and leave them open for the rest of the day.

Autumn/Winter seems to have dragged on, and I'm really getting sick of it now. So, I'm looking forward to welcoming Spring. Natural light, fresh air dried laundry, warmth and longer days are just a few of the reasons why I'm looking forward to Spring.
