December Goals!

December already, huh? Christmas is right around the corner, and a new year following close on it's heels. So I'm going to be spending most of this month reflecting on the past month and looking forward to what I want to achieve in 2020. And with that in mind, I don't plan to push myself too hard with my goals for December. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Before I dive headfirst into my December goals, let's take a quick look back at how I got on with my November goals.

1. Eat a home cooked meal at least twice a week. This is really hard for us. Neither of us like to cook. We spend far too much time at the local pub, or ordering in takeaways. This is one to circle back to next year, I feel.

2. Continue to go on regular date nights with Chris. We took a break from date nights in November, but we're coming back to them this month.

3. Read 10 books. Smashed this one with over ten books read in December.

Well, November didn't quite go to plan. But we all have off months. And I did achieve some things that weren't on my goals list. Like finishing my Christmas shopping, being discharged from therapy and getting a whole new look with a brand new haircut.

Now for my December goals.

1. Spend time with family. I want to spend as much time as I can with family this month. Christmas, to me, means family. Gifts? Cards? Decorations? I can take them or leave them. But spending time with family is what it's all about for me.

2. Have a festive day out. I was hoping to make it to some Christmas markets this year, but that's looking very unlikely. Instead, I'm hoping to fit in a day of Christmas shopping with hubby in the next few weeks.

3. Take some time off work. Both my full-time job and blogging. I'll definitely have a few days off my full-time job for Christmas, and I intend to take a week off from blogging too.

What are your goals for this month?

  1. I love your idea of regular date nights. My boyfriend and I definitely need to do that.
