Haul Post

I must confess I've been a naughty girl this week. I've been on not one, not even two, but three shopping trips. And not come home empty-handed once! I went a bit mad on the first of these trips, as you can see in the above picture.
I came away with; another new mug from Wilkos, "Disclaimer" by Renee Knight from Waterstones, Dixie the cocker spaniel Blue Nosed Friend from WHSmith, Stabilo Neon Tube Highlighter set of 4 from Wilkos, Bic Cristal Ball Pens Fashion Colors also from Wilkos, Felix twists treats again from Wilkos, Felix kitten food from B&M, sports water bottle also from B&M, large grey quilt from B&M, and a collapsible pet bowl from Pound World. The grey quilt was a steal at £19.99! And the Blue Nosed Friend, to add to my already huge collection, was a surprising find in the last place I'd expect to stock them. Not a bad trip, all-in-all; and only one book! Most of you will know by now what an achievement that is for me, and how much I love buying books!

I was a lot more restrained on my second shopping trip. Mainly because I was on the motorbike, with my best friend, and we only had a tank bag for both of our shopping. So besides some essentials, think after-sun lotion and shaving gel (not pictured), I only picked up these two books; "techbitch" by Lucy Sykes and Jo Piazza, and "Keep Your Friends Close" by Paula Daly. Which, I know, I shouldn't have done but it was 'buy one, get one half price' in WHSmith; I couldn't resist!

I was slightly less restrained in my third shopping trip this week and ended up with; a light pink Mantaray handbag from Debenhams, a light pink, matching Mantaray purse also from Debenhams, "In The Unlikely Event" by Judy Blume from WHSmith, and "Planet Garage" by Top Gear also from WHSmith. "Planet Garage" was a gift for my boyfriend, I like to buy thoughtful little presents like that from time to time!

I've bought far too many books this week; when I'm supposed to be on a book-buying ban. And I really, really didn't need a new handbag. But I did spoil my boyfriend (I also bought him some chocolate biscuits, which I know he loves in my final shopping trip this week), and my kitten. So it sort of evens it out? Kind of?...

That's it for this week. Join me on Monday when I'll be blogging about my nail polish collection, and my favourite colours for Summer! Enjoy your weekend, folks.
