1. Lighter nights. I've had enough of it being dark by 4pm. It's just so depressing! Bring on the lighter nights, and not having to close the curtains and turn on all the lamps before I've even finished work for the day.
2. Beautiful blooms. The daffodils are slowly raising their heads from hibernation, and I'm loving seeing the splashes of colour here, there and everywhere.
3. Warmer days. The last few weeks have been bloody freezing, and I am living for those warmer days, where bundling up in 16 layers is total overkill.
4. Baby lambs. We have a field just over the road, opposite our house, and every year when the lambs are born all you can hear are bleats and baas. It's so sweet! And a lovely sound to wake up to.
5. Sunny days. We've had a taste of sunnier days over the last few weeks (despite the cold!) and I am living for them.
6. Drying clothes on the washing line. Lame, right? But I cannot wait to be able to get a few loads of laundry out on the line. And to not worry every minute of every day about how much washing has accumulated recently, and how on earth I'm going to get it all dry in the house.
7. Open windows. I love locking the windows open in every room of the house and letting the fresh air flow in. Unfortunately, not an option during the colder months.
8. Spring cleaning. I see Spring as a time to really get your house in order. Whether it's cleaning it from top to bottom, or getting rid of all the things you no longer need. This is the perfect time of year to get your house in order.
9. Driving with the windows down. Nothing beats getting in your car, winding the windows down and going for a long drive. I have a sunroof in my car, and I've really missed cracking it open and feeling the warm breeze flowing through!
10. Beer gardens. And finally, what better way to spend a Spring weekend than in a beer garden? Alcoholic beverage in hand. Sun beating down. Perfect!
