5 Tantalising TV Shows To Watch During Lockdown

Since at least a quarter of the world's population are currently in some form of lockdown, I thought I'd start a new four part series sharing five films, books, games and TV shows my readers might enjoy whilst stuck at home. Anything to pass the time, right? And we're concluding the series with TV shows! Shall we begin?

1. Dinnerladies. Available on Netflix, along with some other classic British sitcoms like The Vicar of Dibley, Dinnerladies is a classic; lighthearted and easy to watch. It's a sitcom with a difference; with an underlying romance that will tug at your heartstrings.

2. Impractical Jokers. Maybe not to everyone's tastes but Impractical Jokers is a laugh-a-minute TV show, in my opinion. Essentially just friends playing pranks on one another, I never had much time for it in the past. But when I gave it a chance? I'm a fan!

3. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. We all need something to keep our spirits up in these unusual times. And Will Smith will certainly do that in what is one of the best US sitcoms ever made.

4. Curse of the Bermuda Triangle. This is a fascinating seven part series investigating some of the more famous disappearances that took place in or around the Bermuda Triangle. And the possible explanations for said disappearances. From the lost city of Atlantis to the supernatural to magnetic rocks. All angles are covered!

5. All Round To Mrs Brown's. On BBC 1 every Saturday night, this is fast becoming the highlight of our week. With celebrity guests, some fab music, and all the humour we've come to expect from Mrs Brown. This makes for must watch TV.

What have you been watching over lockdown?
